What do you get when a Performing Artist, Jazz, Soul and Funk Singer, Voice Artist and Copywriter walk into a recording studio?...Female Talent 25!
This multi talented artist has been a recent addition to Media Group, and so far we like what we hear.
Female Talent 25 has a friendly ‘relatable’ sounding voice. In fact, when you hear her voicing a commercial it’s like listening to a conversation with your BFF.
We caught up with her and asked her a few questions.
How did you become a voice talent?
My brother in law is in the industry and I was keen to dip my toes in the water. I got an ‘in’ at Seafm on the Gold Coast and learned the craft by volunteering my time.
How long have you been a voice talent?
Coming up to 4 years!
Do you remember the first voiceover you ever got paid to do?
Do I!? After about 3 months of volunteering an hour or two each week the creative director said “it’s about time we pay you...” No objections here...
What’s the best voiceover you have ever done?
I really enjoy using a conversational tone (and using my acting training) so Boost Juice has been my favourite ad so far.
What’s the worst voiceover you have ever done?
“Bec, the client wants a Brazilian accent...”Say no more. The accent sounded more like a fusion of Mexican/Italian (in my head anyways) but it made it to air so the client was obviously satisfied.
Do you have a favourite commercial on TV at the moment?
I’m really liking the ALDI marketing right now.
If you could voice the part for a cartoon character who would you like to be?
I’d like to be a kick arse, do-gooder superhero who empowers young girls to believe in themselves with motivational talk...Or be the voice of HOOT from “Giggle and Hoot”.
FEMALE TALENT 25 IS AVAILABLE FROM 9-5 WEEKDAYS, CONTACT US TO BOOK HER NOW.
