Media Group’s Voice Talent of the Week

Female Talent 26 comes wrapped up like a pass the parcel. On one layer she’s writing entertaining radio scripts, blogging and scripting corporate marketing material. Her voice has been heard right across Australia on Radio and Television. She’s got a voice that everyone loves, her tone and delivery is easy to listen to and makes you feel like your listening to a conversation with an old friend.

We caught up with Female Talent 26 and asked her a few questions -

 

How did you become a voice talent?

The boss of the first radio station i worked for insisted i voice the local community diary each week, which then rolled into radio scripts, traffic reports, an on air gig and 13 years later.. here i am!

 

How long have you been a voice talent?

13 years

 

Do you remember the first voiceover you ever got paid to do?

I voiced a script for Supre fashion stores. 

 

What’s the best voiceover you have ever done?

If you're hanging around the tram stations on the Gold Coast you'll hear me over the PA at the tram stops announcing rail disruptions. Don't shoot the messenger!

 

What’s the worst voiceover you have ever done?

Probably not the worst, but the quirkiest voiceover i've done was for a circumcision centre: "...call 1800 4-A-CIRC".

 

Do you have a favourite commercial on TV at the moment?

I'm a huge fan of the BCF ads.. "...they're BCF-ing fun!"

 

If you could voice the part for a cartoon character who would you like to be?
