We love Female Talent 13, she is always full of energy and up for anything. She juggles recording voiceovers for Media Group in between doing on air shifts at MIX106.3 in Canberra.
She has a voice that never seems to age, bright youthful and full of life. A perfect voice suited for fashion, travel or anything retail related.
We recently caught up with Female Talent 13 and asked her a few questions about her voiceover career.
How did you become a voice talent?
Through my current job as morning Announcer on MIX106.3 in Canberra… just thought it would be fun and challenging. (And also bumping in to Ben from Media Group at a radio awards night!).
How long have you been a voice talent?
For about 10 years now… wow that went fast!
Do you remember the first voiceover you ever got paid to do?
Ha… no I don’t, but I do know it was for Media Group… wow that went fast!
What’s the best voiceover you have ever done?
Not sure about ‘best’ but I did some for Boo Hoo which was very different to my usual style… & a bunch for Hawaiian Airlines which was a real buzz, a free flight would have been nice! Hahaha.
What’s the worst voiceover you have ever done?
Hmmm… probably one for an adult phone service… and maybe anything super energetic when I am tired.
Do you have a favourite commercial on TV at the moment?
The Carlton Mid ad where the guys all ‘accidentally’ end up at the same hotel “what a coincidence”…And some of the Aldi ads.
If you could voice the part for a cartoon character who would you like to be?
Lisa Simpson!... It’s be fun and I’m sure it would pay pretty well!
